This passion has been fueled by the fact that my children have beautiful natural hair.

 

My children have always been my way of honoring this gift from God that is the love of curly hair.

 

Upon arriving in Canada, I immediately sensed the struggle within the curly-haired community in general, and among women who had gone natural in particular: entrusting one’s hair to people who don’t necessarily have the expertise leads to a lot of frustration.

 

 

 

 

 

So I decided to train myself and deepen my expertise: thus was born the AFROLOGIE brand, a crossroads between science and Afro hair.

AFROLOGIE aims to help people with natural hair relearn how to care for their hair. Through years of rejection, our hair has become a true mystery to us. By constantly hiding it and forcing it to be something it isn’t, we’ve forgotten how to care for it. So, even though we’ve realized we should wear our own hair, we don’t know how to care for it, maintain it, and give it the chance to reach its full potential. AFROLOGIE addresses this need: to know our hair, understand it, and meet its specific needs.
